About CTE

Instruction at the College for Technical Education (CTE) has been designed to ensure the success of each trainee. We use the principles of a nationally recognized model that has been noted by several national publications, including the Wall Street Journal and Training Magazine. Our model and its replication sites now train over 7,000 people per year in 28 skills in 31 locations from coast to coast. CTE is also accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.

Facilities
The CTE campus is located in Solutions Centre, 1165 Centre Parkway in Lexington, Kentucky in a building complex formerly known as the Gainesway Shopping Center. Solutions Centre is owned by Employment Solutions, Inc.

Solutions Centre is a 20,000 square foot facility that provides adequate space for each instructional program and the support services available to students. Both the Administrative Assistant and Building Maintenance Technician programs occupy spacious classrooms with the designated classroom section of the campus. The Culinary Arts program is located within a catering operation on the campus, known as Sauté Café. The Retail Sales Management program is located within a retail sales operation on the campus known as Vibe, an urban apparel clothing store.
