Students with Third Party Funding Source In most cases, if you meet the eligibility criteria for certain sponsoring organizations, you may attend CTE at no cost to you. Some examples of sponsoring organizations are the Kentucky Office for Vocational Rehabilitation, Kentucky Foster Care Program and the Kentucky Department for Community Based Services. Students attend classes for thirty hours per week, Monday through Friday. The courses of study these students enroll into are not eligible for Title IV funds. They are the SAME curriculum as that of our Title IV programs, however they are of shorter duration than the full program. The courses included in these non-Title IV programs are identical to that the full-length program. The same academic standard and attendance requirements are part of all programs. Additional to CTE’s policies on academic progress and attendance, students being sponsored by a third-party agency are also required to adhere to all requirements of that agency. The agency has the right to cancel all funds if the progress expectations, are not being met by the student. The staff of CTE will be in regular contact with representatives of your sponsor regarding your attendance and academic progress.
