The Child Development Associate (CDA) is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education and is key stepping stone on the path of career advancement in early childhood.
The College of Technical Education’s Early Childhood Education program is designed to help you reach your potential with the CDA. Through a combination of theory, discussions, guest speakers and real hands-on experience in our on-location early childcare center, students find themselves immersed in the experience.
Built on a solid foundation encompassing the multi-level approach to physical, social and emotional development, the Early Childhood Education program assures an understanding of expectations in the work-force. By working with children in an actual daycare setting throughout the nine-month program, students are qualified to sit for the CDA exam and also prepared to assume the responsibilities of the child care professional upon graduation.
If working with children, educating them towards their future success, having some fun along the way and understanding child development is your desire reach out to the CTE admissions department today.
