It is with great pride that the College for Technical Education welcomed 30 new graduates in February. With attendance in the area of 250 guests, 30 students walked in cap and gown, representing Building Trades Technicians, Cosmetology, Medical Assistants, Medical Billing and Coding and Early Childhood Education. “It was an amazing evening and so much fun”, said Brenda Evans, College Director. “This is one of the most successful group of graduates we have had and many of them already moving forward in their careers.”
The evening opened with the procession of Pomp and Circumstance where, surrounded by family, the graduates saw their hard work come to its pinnacle. With this graduating class, the honors ran high with 10 students achieving Honors and 9 with High Honors. This is also the first graduating class that included students who were honored with the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society award. Three students including Keisha Adkins, Debra Davis and Kimberly Stacy were pinned and presented with special cords. Congratulations to all of the graduates from Employment Solutions, Inc,/College for Technical Education, it was certainly a night to remember.
