A little about Cynthia!

Director of Early Childhood Education

Hi, I’m Cynthia. I’m a graduate of Lipscomb University and for nearly 30 years I have been teaching in both public and private education. I love my career and I want to be sure that others find the love in it, as I do.

I am an Early Childhood Professional Development Specialist, which is a recognition by the Council for Professional Recognition and I hold a Kentucky Early Childhood Trainer’s Credential. I believe that staying active in the community can help to ensure that the education I provide to adults, helps children get the most relevant education possible in today’s society.

I am an active advocate in for young children and serve on the Fayette County Foster Care Review Board. I am also a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children caught up in our court system. Through my education and experience with young children,

I believe that I can provide our students in the Early Childhood Education program at CTE, a broad knowledge and well-balanced experience.
