Frances Clay
A little about Frances!

Medical Assistant Instructor

Hello my name is Frances C and I go by Frances. I grew up here in the Bluegrass state and I’m a proud graduate of the BSHS Defenders. As a Defender I was a proud member of the Gospel Ensemble, Concert Choir, and the Marching Band. Music, as you can see, is such a big part of my life because its universal and something wonderful that unites us.

I fell in love with the idea of teaching while a student at BSHS due to the Special Education Department we had. I was privileged to work with those students teaching them life skills and mentoring. I always knew that I liked helping people and teaching is my way of helping a population of people eager to learn a skill and trade that will never die.

I am a 4th year graduate of CTE and I came back to teach Medical Assisting with the experience I’ve acquired over the years. Our students benefit from my experience as a alumni with real world experience in the field. At CTE as an instructor, I bring experience in administrative and clinical practices. You will learn how to navigate in the front office as well as clinical practices in the back office.

Medical Assisting is a growing field so why not come and join us.
